Former French general uses victim-blaming tactics

A former French general demonstrates perfectly how so many women in Europe fell victim to Muslim rapists:
General Michel Olhagaray, who served in the past, among other things, as the commander of the naval school in the French Navy, caused an uproar after he claimed during an interview that the party near Kibbutz Re'im, which was attacked by Hamas on October 7, was a provocation.

During a discussion on French channel LCI which dealt with the kidnapping of Israeli-French citizen Mia Schem from the party, the general claimed that "going to dance a few kilometers away [from the Gaza border] is a provocation."

Users on X from France criticized the general, with one of them writing, "Yes... it's normal, they were Jews, so we can rape, kidnap, dismember and kill without punishment. This shows that a good soldier is not a good commentator."

Another user wrote, "While a French hostage is telling the story of her captivity, he calls going dancing a few kilometers from Gaza a 'provocation'. This is the same person who will explain to you after rape that the skirt is too short."

Yet another user the channel and wrote: "Get this vile character off the set. His statement about Mia is sickening and outrageous. This ‘star’, with his dirty words, almost gives approval to Hamas for murdering the young people at the rave because, he claims, they were provocative against Gaza."
This explains how horrific incidents like these can occur too. It strongly suggests such people as the general in question are open to shariah becoming dominant in Europe along with Israel.

It's bad enough if Haredi extremists make statements like those. But when somebody in as prominent a position as Olhagarey does it, that makes everything far worse. Such a man does not belong in his job.

More research revealed about the Hamas' weaponization of rape

Israel National News has more on what the investigations into what'll be one of the worst examples of mass rape in the 21st century have revealed:
A newly-released two-month investigation by The New York Times has uncovered horrific, painful new details, proving that during Hamas' brutal massacre on the morning October 7, its attacks against women were not isolated events but part of a larger pattern.

The investigation relies on video footage, photographs, GPS data from mobile phones and interviews with more than 150 people, including witnesses, medical personnel, soldiers and rape counselors. In it, the Times identified at least seven locations where Israeli women and girls were seen sexually assaulted or mutilated.

The investigation also examines the accounts of four witnesses, who described the horrors in graphic detail, as well as several soldiers and volunteer medics who described over 30 bodies found both at the site of the music festival near Re'im and in two kibbutzim. All of the victims were in a similar state, showing signs of abuse in their genital areas, with their clothes torn off, and more. The Times also viewed footage of two dead IDF soldiers - women who had been shot in the genitals.
While most of the more graphic details aren't described directly in the rest of the article, what is told is utterly repulsive, and all antisemites who support such evil have no place in sane society. All must be done to distance the current crowd of anti-Israelists from the rest of society, and get them out of sane western and eastern countries altogether.

NY Times publishes anti-Israeli screed by Hamas minion

The repellent New York Times once again demonstrated what side of the road they're on, as they published an anti-Israeli screed by a Hamas employee, no less:
The most obvious retort to people who forced out New York Times editorial page editor James Bennet for publishing an op-ed by Republican Sen. Tom Cotton was the parade of Times op-eds by dictators and terrorists. Remember "What We, The Taliban, Want"? Now it’s happened again.

The Times ran an op-ed Sunday (on Christmas Eve!) by Hamas’s handpicked Gaza City mayor — prompting outrage on social media from Israel supporters. Gaza City hasn't had an election in 18 years.
Why does anybody still continue to put money into the pockets of such a repulsive paper whose loathsome staff go miles out of their way to give a voice to savages? Anybody who puts money into the NYT's pockets is only perpetuating a serious problem.

Pro-Hamas hoodlums stage their repulsive act in front of Ground Zero in NYC

Many of these pro-Hamas demonstrations in the USA have quickly become repulsive acts, whether they end up blocking airports like JFK, LAX and O'Hare. And it was also awful when just a few days ago, rabbi Shmuley Boteach had a reportedly 11-year-old girl yell obscenities at him. Now, these vulgar demonstrations have even reached Ground Zero, where the World Trade Center once stood:
Pro-Palestinian Arab protesters on Thursday shut down the entrance to the World Trade Center in New York City, footage posted to social media showed.

The footage showed hundreds of protesters waving Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) flags and chanting “Free Palestine”.

The incident comes one day after pro-Palestinian Arab protesters blocked a road to John F. Kennedy International Airport. At least 26 protesters were arrested.

Anti-Israel protests have been on the rise since the start of Israel’s war against Hamas on October 7
.

In late November, pro-Palestinian Arab protesters halted traffic in New York City by descending at the foot of the Manhattan Bridge and demanding a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. Earlier this month, pro-Palestinian Arab protesters marched through New York City, making stops at major transportation hubs and disrupting traffic along the way.
What's also chilling is that, under the current laws in NYC where no bail needs to be posted for an arrested felon, they'll likely be out on the street again very quickly. What George Soros' business led to was just the beginning, and now even worse situations are occurring. That the demonstrators would block access to a site that suffered the worst terrorist attack in the USA's history speaks volumes. Especially considering that back in 2001, many Muslims in Gaza/Judea/Samaria celebrated the horrifying jihadist attack.

French parliament passes bill to deal with illegal immigration

Something that'll hopefully help in combatting Islamofascism within France:
The French parliament on Tuesday passed an immigration bill backed by the government of President Emmanuel Macron after he faced a major rebellion within his own party over the far right's support of the toughened-up legislation.

The lower house voted in favour of the legislation by a wide majority, with the ruling party in the end not needing the support of Marine Le Pen's far-right National Rally (RN) to push the bill through.

Various amendments have seen the immigration measures further tightened from when the bill was originally submitted, with the left accusing the government of caving in to pressure from the far right.

Le Pen endorsed the strengthened bill but key left-leaning members of Macron's Renaissance Party and allied factions indicated they could no longer support it, with several ministers reportedly threatening to resign.

"We can rejoice in ideological progress, an ideological victory even for the National Rally, since this is now enshrined into law as a national priority," said Le Pen, a three-time presidential candidate who leads the RN's lawmakers in parliament and is widely expected to stand again for president in 2027.
There's still much to be done in order to put a stop to the Islamofascists, however, and it's to be hoped this is just the beginning. As for those leftists who said they'll resign over this, that's quite fine.

Right-wing Israeli MKs demand an end to blood libels against "settlers"

Some right-wing Knesset members are demanding that a most notorious blood libel of modern times be stopped:
Following the campaign in Israel, Europe, and the US to condemn “settler violence” during the months of Operation Iron Swords, right-wing MKs are demanding to hold a debate on the subject and compel IDF representatives to reveal the sources of data that were published recently and apply a very broad brush to include many disparate events in the same category.

For example, graffiti by Jewish settlers and Arab attempts to lynch Jews are included under the same heading of “serious attacks.” Events are often recorded from a point well into their progression, without a clear depiction of whether the incident was initiated by Jews or Arabs, or whether the Jews acted in self-defense.

In general, law enforcement officials tend to create symmetry in the violence perpetrated by Arabs and Jews, when in reality there is no equality in the number of terrorist incidents, and who initiates the first blow. To get those “equal” figures, the record keepers classify graffiti by Jews as violence, while the only recorded violent incidents perpetrated by Arabs are those with physical victims.

The most serious problem in this area stems from contradictory information that’s being provided by different law enforcement agencies. The Israel Police has been consistently showing a dramatic drop of more than 50% in nationalist crime by Jewish settlers, but the Shin Bet and the IDF are offering vastly different statistics, and none of these agencies makes an attempt to compare and synchronize the data.

[...] MKs Amit Halevi (Likud), Limor Sonn Har Melech (Otzma Yehudit), Hanoch Milwidsky (Likud), Zvi Sukkot (Religious Zionism), Boaz Bismuth (Likud), Nissim Vaturi (Likud), and Israel Eichler (UTJ), recently issued a statement saying, “It has been published that there is an internal IDF document describing 201 incidents of nationalistic crimes by Jews in Judea and Samaria. This document, if it exists, serves the campaign depicting settler violence which is promoted by elements in Israel and around the world.”

[...] “Left-wing anti-Israel organizations are operating in the information vacuum that was created by the State of Israel, spreading false information and fostering an antisemitic campaign about ‘settler violence,’ which is intended to delegitimize the defense operations of the IDF in Judea and Samaria and in general,” said Deutch.
This kind of propaganda has definitely got to cease, and everything must be done to counter it. It's practically a form of moral equivalence, which itself is a very dangerous form of propaganda, seemingly intended to blur distinctions between good and evil, yet in many cases, it only ends up villifying Israel, to use but an example of how moral equivalence is only a hurtful concept.

On a related note, Joel Pollak has something to consider about how university antisemitism became so bad:
2. Institutional bias. Many elite universities were steeped in antisemitic prejudice through the early twentieth centuries. That bigotry disappeared in the postwar era. But in the last few decades, Middle East Studies departments emerged, and most were dominated by radical scholars in the mould of Edward Said, the Palestinian intellectual whose Orientalism defined post-colonial studies. Arab regimes donated money to these departments, and to Islamic Studies; Israel made no similar investments abroad.
See, this is a most stunning weakness that's been going on for ages. Only so many conservatives, in example, trashed and threw away golden opportunities to improve situations by investing in movies and music, among other things, allowing the left to almost completely monopolize only so mamy mediums at conservatives' expense. There are some right-wingers today who're trying to change that. But for all we know, it may be too late.

Either way, even here in Israel, right-wingers are going to have to start doing what Jeremy Boering and Ben Shapiro are doing, forming their own moviemaking studios and other alternatives to the leftist dominated entertainment industry, and stop acting like being religious literally dictates otherwise. That kind of absurd view is the reason why Israel made no investments in overseas universities either.

A wise move by Japan

The Japanese government has imposed sanctions against 3 Hamas members (H/T: Simon Wiesenthal Center):
The Japanese government will freeze assets and impose sanctions on payments and capital transactions on three senior Hamas members, Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshimasa Hayashi said on Tuesday.

The three individuals were believed to be involved in the Oct. 7 attack by Hamas on Israel and in a position to use funds to finance such terrorist activities, the top Japanese government spokesperson said.
Very responsible of Japan to take these steps. The time's come for all concerned to make sure terrorist operatives cannot make money, and they don't deserve any either.

Antisemitism taught in USA public schools

Francesca Block (via the American Thinker) reveals that antisemitism is taught early in USA public schools, explaining in part how the situation got so bad in such a hurry:
Ever since Hamas’s October 7 attack on Israel, pro-Palestinian protests have swept U.S. colleges, leading to charges of Jew-hatred and a disastrous congressional hearing where three college presidents failed to offer a clear moral condemnation of rising antisemitism.

But the ideology fueling these demonstrations isn’t limited to the college campus. It now begins in public high schools and even elementary schools as early as pre-K, according to more than 30 public school teachers, administrators, and parents across four states who spoke to The Free Press.

American youths aren’t just encountering the views on TikTok; they’re learning them from teachers and, in some cases, from the mandatory public school curriculum itself. Take California, where a 10th grade history course, approved by the Santa Ana Unified School District, includes readings that call Israel an “extremist illegal Jewish settler population” and accuses the country of “ethnic cleansing.” Or the Jefferson Union High School District near San Francisco, which teaches about the “Palestinian dispossession of lands/identity/culture through Zionist settler colonialism.”

The root of these lessons stems from California’s new “Ethnic Studies Model Curriculum” (ESMC), which passed in 2021 and mandates lessons on the marginalization of black, Hispanic, Native American, and Asian American peoples, emphasizing how they are oppressed by a white oppressor, says Brandy Shufutinsky, the director of education and community engagement for the Jewish Institute of Liberal Values.

“It’s a Trojan horse to institutionalize antisemitism in California schools,” Shufutinsky said.

Meanwhile, more than one million secondary school students in all 50 states are learning about history and the Middle East from the Brown University Choices Program, which openly accepts funding from Qatar, the wealthy Arab state now harboring leaders of Hamas. A strong pro-Palestinian bias shines through in Brown’s teaching materials. Israel, according to multiple lessons, is a “Zionist enterprise in Palestine,” an “apartheid state,” a “settler colony,” and “a military occupier.”

These ideas have profound consequences. A Harvard Harris poll from this month found that 67 percent of people aged 18 to 24 believe that “Jews as a class are oppressors and should be treated as oppressors,” compared to 44 percent of people aged 25 to 34; 24 percent of those aged 45 to 54; 15 percent of those 55 to 64; and 9 percent over 65 years who say the same.

In the New York City public school system, which educates more than one million students, the indoctrination began as far back as 2018, when it was codified in a new curriculum called the Culturally Responsive-Sustaining Education Framework (CRSE), sources said. The CRSE seeks to mold students into citizens who “have a critical lens through which they challenge inequitable systems of access, power, and privilege.”
What may have begun in California won't stop there. Now we have a serious crisis of youngsters who're being indoctrinated in ways much worse than imagined, and at this point, it won't be even the slightest bit shocking if they're desensitized to violence, also as a result of being fed a steady diet of violent movies and video games. And to think we wondered what went wrong with many younger generations over past decades.

Notorious social media site refused ads about Israeli hostages of Hamas

Guess which social network refused to carry ads about the Israeli hostages of Hamas?
A few weeks after thousands of Hamas terrorists infiltrated Israel on October 7, murdering 1,200 people and brutally kidnapping some 240 individuals, including more than 30 children, the devastated families of those held hostage in the Gaza Strip launched a global campaign demanding their release.

With assistance from marketing and advertising professionals, the newly created Hostages and Missing Persons Forum in Israel turned to powerful social media platforms used by billions of people worldwide and asked to place paid advertisements to raise awareness of their plight.

Mostly short video clips depicting the lives of ordinary civilians and children held captive by a U.S.-designated terror organization, multiple ads were placed on Meta platforms Facebook and Instagram, but the Chinese-owned video-sharing app, TikTok, refused to accept any of them, deeming them “too political.”
This is far from shocking at this point. (Hat tip: Breitbart.) And it confirms in addition that they never intended to respect the requests of delegates like Amy Schumer, who requested they stop allowing antisemitic slogans onto their servers.

So on the one hand, TikTok allows antisemitism and other horrific ideologies like LGBT advocacy on their site, yet on the other hand, won't allow advertisements vital for combating Islamic terrorism. This is very telling. How much longer are parents going to allow their children to make use of such a repulsive site?

Even Muslim children in Gaza had Hamas uniforms

The IDF discovered Hamas uniforms made for children in Gaza homes, or what's left of them:
According to a new report, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) found children’s Hamas uniforms when they investigated the Kasbah complex in Beit Hanoun.

The IDF’s 5th Brigade also found IDF vests as well as Kalashnikov-type weapons, grenades, cartridges and ammunition boxes, and mortar bombs, Israel National News reported. Several tunnel shafts were found in homes, including one in a school that was the largest tunnel.

The indoctrination of Palestinian children in hatred for Israel has been documented for years
. Rajaa Al-Halabi, the head of the Hamas Women’s Movement, said on December 12, 2022, “Most kindergartens [in Gaza] belong to our sisters in Hamas. Children are raised from a young age on this culture — ‘Allah is our goal,’ ‘[jihad] for the sake of Allah…’ From infancy, children are nurtured to love jihad, to want to meet Allah, and to love fighting the enemy.’”
And as pointed out above, the Hamas even had a women's movement. Who likely had plenty of special burkas to wear as part of their repellent uniforms. This, as some have surely guessed, is quite similar to how the National Socialists in Germany operated during WW2. It'll take ages to repair the mental damage indoctrinated into these children and women.

Whoever owns the Empire State Building sold out to Qatar

Robert Spencer at Front Page points to how the management at NYC's Empire State Building is celebrating Qatar National Day, and what makes this bad is that it's a country that's bankrolled Islamic terrorism just as much as Iran, and just as disturbing is that Qatar's got a huge ownership in the veteran NYC tower:
Who loves Hamas? After Hamas jihadis murdered 1,200 Israelis on Oct. 7, growing numbers of leftists do. Can we now add the Empire State Building to the list?

The iconic New York landmark announced on X Sunday: “Tonight from midnight until sunrise, we will shine in burgundy and white to celebrate Qatar National Day.” Back in 2016, Qatar shelled out $622 million to buy 9.9 percent of the Empire State Building, and so if the building’s managers wants to honor one their principal shareholders, that’s their business. The timing in this case, however, is particularly ghastly, and raises questions about the propriety of having not-quite-friendly states owning a piece of American landmarks.

It was just over two months ago, on Oct. 7, that Hamas leaders including its top leaders Ismail Haniyeh and Khaled Mashal and others, were caught on video happily watching news of the Hamas massacres in Israel, and then prostrating themselves in prayers of gratitude to Allah for the killing of Jews. They were in a plush office in Doha, the capital of Qatar.

Hamas’ “Political Bureau,” as opposed to its military, i.e. terrorist, wing, has been located in Doha since 2012. Haniyeh and Mashal live not in Gaza, but in sumptuous digs in Doha. Reuters reported that “a bipartisan group of 113 U.S. lawmakers on Oct. 16 sent a letter to President Joe Biden asking him to put pressure on countries who support Hamas, including Qatar. They asked that Qatar, a major non-NATO U.S. ally and a channel for U.S. dialogue with the Taliban since a U.S. pullout from Afghanistan, to expel Hamas leadership. ‘The country’s links to Hamas…are simply unacceptable,’ the letter said.”

It is emblematic of the Biden regime’s America-Last leadership that the principal response to that letter appears to be the lighting of the Empire State Building in Qatar’s colors for its national day. What’s more, Qatar never should have been allowed to buy a piece of the Empire State Building in the first place. Investigative journalist Daniel Greenfield reminds us of what the 9/11 Commission Report said about Qatar’s role in the 9/11 jihad attacks. The Commission noted that one of the key masterminds of the attacks, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, like Haniyeh and Mashal, lived in Qatar.
What makes this chilling is that it undermines the ability to combat Islamisation effectively, and if Qatar's bought into the Empire State Building's ownership, there can be no doubt they've invested in plenty more notable properties and locations around the USA, and other parts of the globe. It's disgraceful how various businesses care so much more about moneymaking at all costs, they're virtually willing to throw all common sense to the winds by doing deals with enemy countries. Which in cases like these are going to end up becoming very costly. Those who care must stop doing deals with enemy countries like Qatar.

The USA government's double-standard on "settlers"

Ariel Kahana addressed the disturbing acceptance by the USA government of blood libels against Israelis considered "settlers", even though there's no solid evidence:
"There are some people who are slandering the settlers, they are waging a campaign on the backs of these dear people," the prime minister pounded on the table during his conversation last week with the Biden administration's National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.

Netanyahu's outright rejection of US policy to deny entry visas from "violent settlers" is very important because it shows that there is finally someone willing to shout out the truth.

First, let's make it clear just what makes someone a "settler." According to Hamas, any Jew living in the Land of Israel is a "Zionist settler" whose punishment is death. This is written and stated in all the organization's publications. The implication is that whenever President Joe Biden or any other official says "settler violence," they are playing into the antisemitic propaganda of the murderous organization. That may not be their intention, but that's how their statements sound to Arab ears.

Second, the idea of Jewish settlement has been part and parcel of the Zionist enterprise since its inception, as articulated in the famous eulogy by IDF Chief of Staff Moshe Dayan for Roi Rotberg, the security coordinator of Nahal Oz, who was murdered and whose body was mutilated by Gazans in 1956.

"We are a generation of settlement," Dayan said in words that have entered history. "Without a steel helmet and cannon muzzle we will not be able to plant [a tree] and build a house... The millions of Jews who were annihilated without a country look to us from the ashes of Israeli history and command us to settle and rebuild the land for our nation."

Over the years, the Israeli and international media have vilified the pioneering settlers who established the Zionist enterprise, until the term "settlement" itself has become a slur. The incitement was so intensive that it paved the way for the US' recent brazen move, whereby fundamental rights can be denied to "settlers" without basic due process.
Yet all this time, no similar issues are ever made regarding Islamists and the Koran's advocation of jihadism. And the far-left in Israel really lent itself to the massive damage that we're now seeing play itself out in the worst ways possible. Even European politicians are guilty of this atrocious attitude. This has got to stop.

The MeToo movement refuses to support Israeli victims of Islamic sexual violence

Rafael Medoff addressed the double-standard the MeToo movement's had when it comes to sexual violence committed by Hamas on October 7 against Israeli women, which the MeToo movement was only willing to address a month afterwards:
Why is the #MeToo movement refusing to condemn Hamas for its mass rape and sexual mutilation of Israeli women?

When #MeToo International emerged in 2017, its purpose was to provide a voice for victims of sexual violence and a vehicle to protest their attackers and enablers. All victims – not just members of particular nationalities or ethnic groups. And all attackers – regardless of their political affiliations or agendas. If, for example, Palestinian Arab terrorists rape Israeli women, even those who support the Palestinian Arab cause should be willing to speak out against them. But that's not what happened.

From literally the day after the Hamas attack, there was credible eyewitness testimony of sexual assaults
. The widely respected online Jewish magazine Tablet published a report about it on October 8, authored by one of its most seasoned contributors, Liel Leibovitz.

"I've spent the last 12 hours speaking to Israelis who were at the Supernova music festival [where hundreds were massacred]," Leibovitz began.

He quoted a survivor saying, "Women have been raped at the area of the rave next to their friends' bodies, dead bodies." He noted that "several of these rape victims appear to have been later executed," while "others were taken to Gaza." Another survivor described seeing the corpses of "young women, lying cold and mutilated." Leibovitz also pointed out: "In photographs released online, you can see several paraded through the city's streets, blood gushing from between their legs."

In the days and weeks to follow, there were additional published accounts by survivors who witnessed Hamas terrorists sexually assaulting Jewish women. There were "trophy videos" that the terrorists themselves circulated on social media. There were Israeli coroners who reported finding women victims with shattered pelvises and other evidence of sexual mutilation.

In other words, there was more than enough of a basis for the #MeToo movement to say something.

Yet for some reason, it took #MeToo International until November 13 to issue any kind of statement about the mass sexual violence against Israeli women that took place five weeks earlier
.

If the reason for the delay was bureaucratic inertia, that speaks poorly of a movement that should be prepared to respond promptly, given the urgent and often time-sensitive nature of the issues it addresses. If the reason has to do with the fact that the victims were Israeli Jews, that is far more disturbing.

The #MeToo movement's brief November 13 statement – just 335 words in total – was outrageously inadequate. The identity of the victims – Jewish Israelis – was not mentioned. The identity of the perpetrators – Hamas and other Palestinian terrorists – was not mentioned. Incredibly, the main focus of the statement from the international movement against sexual violence was not Hamas's sexual violence against Israelis, but rather the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
It just underscores how the MeToo movement was never really set up for altruistic reasons, and ultimately, the whole movement is run by bigoted people, who've never even addressed cases of Muslims committing sexual violence in Europe. This is exactly why MeToo simply has no reason for being, and nobody should rely on or bankroll their movement.

Pro-Hamas supporters vandalized the Lincoln Memorial

The sick supporters of Hamas have gone so far as to vandalize the Lincoln Memorial with repulsive graffiti:
The National Park Service is working to clean the steps of the Lincoln Memorial after vandals splattered red paint on the ground and scrawled the words ‘Free Gaza’ in several places Wednesday morning. [...]

In September 2022, the Washington Monument was defaced with paint and vulgar messages. In June 2020, National Park Service crews cleaned graffiti from monuments and memorials around the D.C. region after they were vandalized by protesters.
So this isn't the first time it's happened, and one must wonder: what's with security around these national monuments? Don't they have any proper camera equipment to monitor the sites? Now, even national monuments and memorials in the USA aren't safe.

Transsexual activist in Philadelphia arrested for raping children

The city where I was born continues its collapse into moral decay as an LGBT ideologue was discovered violating children:
Kendall Stephens, a transgender woman - so a man - was just arrested with sexually assaulting two children. Stephens is a well-known LGBTQ+ activist in the Philadelphia area and has ties to many democratic leaders. He’s been charged with rape, indecent assault, endangering the welfare of a child, corruption of minors and other crimes with two boys under the age of 13, the court documents indicate.

The grandmother of one of the victims came forward in September and accused Stephens of sexually abusing her grandchild starting when he was just 8-years-old. A family member of the second victim also came forward with a similar claim, adding that Stephens insisted the child would go to prison if he spoke out about the abuse, Fox News reported.

[...] This is what the left is creating with their attempts to warp truth and reality. If we allow people like Stephens to parade around as something he’s not and honor him for it, of course he’s going to think that anything he wants will be accepted and respected. Therefore, it's no surprise he thought he could do whatever he wanted to these little kids and face no repercussions for it.
The leftist advocacy for protected-class statuses for deviants has led to whole generations of perverts who believe being a LGBT ideologue, a Muslim or even a political leftist in almost every sense of the word means never having to say you're sorry. Now, we're seeing more of the sad fallout from all this fiasco.

And just look how far Philly's fallen. I can't bear to visit there anymore.

Actress Sydney Sweeney is right to be proud of her rack

The actress Sydney Sweeney is proud of her breasts, and rightly so:
Already-iconic actress Sydney Sweeney told Glamour UK on Thursday exactly how she feels about her absolutely legendary breasts.

Sweeney is, in all honesty, the next Emily Blunt. She’s just one of those few actresses who can do it all: comedy, romance, deeply brutal emotional nasties and probably action. But Sweeney is also known for being one of the most beautiful humans to have ever walked the Earth, which is why it’s so surprising that she almost went under the knife to change two of her biggest aesthetic assets.

“Flaunt what you got. Own it. Love them. When I was in high school, I used to feel uncomfortable about how big my boobs were and I used to say that when I turned 18, I was going to get a boob job to make them smaller,” she told the outlet. But apparently her mother intervened, supporting Sweeney like no bra ever could.

“My mom told me, ‘Don’t do it. You’ll regret it in college,’” Sweeney continued. “And I’m so glad I didn’t. I like them. They’re my best friends. Everybody’s body is beautiful. When you are confident and you’re happy within is when it really shows to other people.”
She did the right thing not to get a breast reduction surgery. Big ones are nothing to be ashamed of. But of course, when you look at the horrorfest caused by transsexual ideology in the past decade, you realize it could've been far worse. Thank God that Sweeney made the right choice, and is a woman who's proud of her sex, and assets.

Democrats trying to prevent Donald Trump from running on local state ballots

And if that's where they're going, it's only a matter of time before they have him banned from national elections to boot. As Breitbart tells, what just happened in Colorado won't stop there:
The states of California and Maine are now exploring options to keep former President Trump off their respective state ballots in the wake of Colorado’s ruling.

As Breitbart News reported on Tuesday, the Colorado Supreme Court ruled “in a 4-3 opinion that the Constitution’s ‘Insurrection Clause’ prohibits former President Donald Trump from appearing on the ballot for the presidency in 2024.”

“The court found by clear and convincing evidence that President Trump engaged in insurrection as those terms are used in Section Three” of the Fourteenth Amendment, the ruling read.

The ruling will partially reverse a previous ruling from Colorado District Court Judge Sarah Wallace, who ruled in November that the Fourteenth Amendment would not apply in the case of former President Trump, being that he is not an officer of the United States as was defined at the time of the amendment’s ratification following the Civil War.

On Wednesday, Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellows was reported to be seeking options on whether or not to exclude Trump from the state’s primary ballot in March. Last week, for instance, attorneys seeking to bar Trump from the ballot argued with Trump’s legal team at the State House hearing.
What these Democrat-appointees are doing won't stop at Colorado, as mentioned, and won't stop at Trump himself either. For all we know, they could go after Ron deSantis next. What we're seeing here is the erosion and collapse of democracy.

Rescued child hostages suffered serious traumatic effects

The child hostages who were rescued from Hamas captivity suffered awful psychological effects, as doctors pointed out:
Doctors working with children who were hostages held by Hamas after the October 7 massacre of 1200 Israelis are discovering how traumatic the ordeal for the children was and how much it has affected them.

The children seized by Hamas ranged in age from 10 months to 18 years old. Some were held alone. Israeli doctors found that most of the children had lost between 10% to 15% of their body weight, The Wall Street Journal reported.

But the behavior that the doctors found most unsettling was that the children spoke in whispers, slowly gathering the courage to ask if they could look out the window or open a door, Efrat Bron-Harlev, chief executive of the Schneider Children’s Medical Center, said, adding, “They looked like shadows of children.” He said that when the famished children were asked why they ate in such small quantities, they answered they had to save some for later.

“I’ve never seen anything like that before,”
Renana Eitan, chair of psychiatry at the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, said. “We feel as a group that we have to rewrite the textbook.”

Adult hostages who were released back to Israel said the Hamas terrorists who seized the children routinely gave them benzodiazepines and other drugs to keep them quiet; many of the children, now used to the drugs, have trouble sleeping.
It goes entirely without saying that the jihadist monsters who carried out such a horror story have really caused repulsive damage to children as much as to adults, and now, these children, while safe again, are going to sadly have a hard time growing up. Especially if they've been orphaned.

Update: here's also some news on how the attempt to rescue 3 hostages sadly killed by friendly fire was a disaster.

Update 2: there's also some troubling news about several thousand Muslim workers who were allowed over the "green line" in Judea/Samaria to attend work in Israel.

All areas in Gaza that were surrendered to the Islamists should be rebuilt for Jewish residency

Some vital points have been made on what Israel should be doing now that Gaza has been retaken:
Senior Chabad Rabbis in Israel sent a letter to the members of the War Cabinet stating that the areas in Gaza that were handed over to the enemy during the Disengagement must be inhabited.

Among other things, the rabbis wrote that when using the term “territories handed over to the enemy,” they mean the Jewish communities in the Gaza Strip that were given as part of the Disengagement plan.

"The territories given to the enemy must be resettled as Jewish communities, as a response to the horrific massacre on Simchat Torah," they wrote.

The rabbis also wrote that one should not give in to the US demands on the security aspect, but on the other hand, they should end the war quickly and without endangering the soldiers and proceed "only according to pure military considerations", according to the letter.

The letter is signed by senior Chabad rabbis in Israel, including a senior and top Chabad rabbi in Israel and around the world, Rabbi Yitzchak Yehuda Yaroslavsky, who serves as the head of the Chabad Court, and Rabbi Moshe Havlin, a member of the rabbinical court and Rabbi of Kiryat Gat.

According to them, their letter is based on the Lubavitch Rebbe's instructions throughout all of Israel's wars since the Six Day War.
A few days ago, Daniela Weiss also made this important point. A message must be sent, and those areas of Gaza that were originally Jewish must be rebuilt for them. And not only that, those who led to the destruction in the first place who're still around have to be punished, and their own acts cannot be forgotten or excused. Why, this can even be applied to a certain RINO in Minnesota named Ed Morrissey, recalling he'd supported the "disengagement" back in 2005. And there's plenty more.

IDF destroys a monument to evil

The IDF captured what Hamas called "Palestine Square", and destroyed an evil and offensive "monument" that was built there:
Soldiers from the Golani Brigade’s 13th Battalion have captured the 'Palestine Square' in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood of Gaza City and destroyed a monument Hamas erected to commemorate an attack on an IDF APC during Operation Protective Edge in 2014 in which seven soldiers were killed.

Lt. Col. Yuval Mazuz, the commander of the 13th Battalion, stated: “We are here, the 13th Battalion, at the place where the terrorist organization Hamas erected a statue glorifying the disaster that happened to the battalion during Protective Edge. We are sending a clear message to Hamas: Wherever such a statue is erected, we will come and destroy it."

Hamas built the square and monument following Operation Protective Edge to commemorate the destruction of an APC and the killing of all of the soldiers inside it. The monument depicts a fist punching through an APC holding three dog dags. On one of the dog tags was written the name of Oron Shaul, a soldier whose body has been illegally held by Hamas since the attack.
If you've ever wondered about so-called monuments that are offensive and inappropriate, and deserve to be demolished, this definitely is one of them. Why, there was even a statue of Saddam Hussein that was destroyed by Iraqis themselves after the USA raid on the country in 2002, and based on what a repulsive person he was, that's why that too is something that should be destroyed.

Minnesota changes state flag to a design similar to Somalia's

Via the American Thinker, we get news that the Democrat-run enclave of Minnesota is changing their state flag to something bearing shades of color similar to the flag of Somalia, which is Muslim-majority, along with a star resembling what the latter's also has, and has a green stripe reminiscent of what can be seen on the flags of some Muslim countries going alongside the blue. The leftist AP Wire recently told why the shift:
A state commission went to work Tuesday on designing a new state flag and seal for Minnesota to replace a current emblem in both that’s considered offensive to Native Americans.

One of the main elements of Minnesota’s state flag includes a prominent state seal against a blue background. The seal depicts a Native American riding off into the sunset while a white settler plows his field with his rifle leaning on a nearby stump. The imagery suggests to many that the Indigenous people were defeated and going away, while whites won and were staying.
Yet when Muslims come and stay, replacing even north American Indians, that's okay? This is such humiliation, and makes clear the state's imposition of LGBT ideology was just another starting tactic for damaging stability, since it's clear it was all to subsequently prepare the grounds for Islam to take over after the LGBT ideologues had done their dirty work. Now, as the new flag design hints, they're taking steps for setting the Religion of Peace's takeover of the state into place.

3 hostages were mistakenly killed by IDF

A tragedy occurred in which the IDF, while doing battle in the Gaza strip, accidentally killed 3 hostages:
New details emerged Saturday following the tragic incident in which three Israeli hostages that had been taken by Hamas on Oct. 7 were mistaken for terrorists by IDF troops and then killed.

The incident occurred in an area where there were no civilians present, and where most of the people identified were usually terrorists trying to harm our forces. However, in recent days the forces have encountered incidents where terrorists tried to lure them into traps. According to a senior official, the IDF was not familiar with a scenario where they might encounter roaming hostages. Several dozen meters separated the battalion's force from the building where the hostages were.

According to the initial investigation, three suspicious figures were spotted exiting a building located just tens of meters from where the force was positioned, carrying a white flag on a pole. One of the soldiers felt threatened, shouted "terrorists!" and opened fire toward them despite the rules of engagements prohibiting using live fire on those carrying a white flag who want to surrender. The soldier hit two of the hostages, and then a third hostage ran back into the building. At this point shouts of "Save us" in Hebrew were heard.

The battalion commander held fire, believing it was an incident aimed at deceiving the forces. The fighters shouted at the figure, who only later turned out to be an Israeli hostage, to come out, and cries of "Save us" in Hebrew were apparently heard from the building. The figure emerged and IDF forces mistakenly opened fire on him. Due to the figure's appearance, the battalion commander realized this was a major incident and an investigation was launched.

Two days before the tragedy, a building with "Three hostages," "SOS," and "Save us" spraypainted in red was discovered a few hundred meters from where it occurred. The connection to the incident in which the hostages were accidentally killed is being investigated. The forces have already encountered such writings on buildings that turned out to be booby-trapped.
Even so, that the soldier who fired and killed them would do so with such incredible irresponsibility still reeks of pure disgust at how he wound up taking innocent lives, and I honestly feel he should be convicted in court for costing the lives of hostages who could've been saved much more easily if it hadn't been for that. The families of the victims have every right to be outraged.

Here's another report on this humiliation:
The tragic event in which three captives were killed by IDF fire on Friday has triggered understandable public outrage, but if were to look beyond the event itself, it must echo a clear message: Every day that goes by endangers the lives of the captives.

The event itself was a serious mishap and a blatant breach of the rules of engagement. The captives moved without shirts and waved a white cloth – that is, they took every possible step to ensure that they posed no threat.

Nevertheless, one of the fighters shouted that they were terrorists and opened fire at them. He hit two captives, and the third who fled to a nearby building was shot and killed despite shouting "help" and despite the battalion commander's order to cease fire.

This incident exposes operational questions on how far away one should open fire, and under what approval process, as well as the necessary distinction between a clear enemy combatant and a potential threat.

It also exposes ethical issues of reckless shooting at those who surrender, certainly when they are at a distance where they pose no danger to the forces. It also raises the issue of coordination and understanding regarding the captives, which requires appropriate guidelines, even if the scenario that materialized on Friday of captives wandering freely in the middle of the street seemed unlikely.

Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi, did well by making clear yesterday what was obvious: The IDF will not fire at those waving a white flag. This is important not only vis-à-vis the captives but in a broader view: vis-à-vis the world, which accuses Israel of war crimes and may see this incident as proof that Israel strikes Gaza civilians without any distinction.

Still, the chief of staff must ensure that the soldiers' fingers are not too trigger-happy. This is not an easy task, under non-trivial conditions, where Hamas makes every effort to harm the soldiers and set traps for them.
Even so, this was a terrible fiasco, and the worst part, as Joel Pollak mentioned, is that the tragedy could be used as a weapon to undermine Israel. It's to be hoped that troops now will be instructed better, and that they'll improve. Even so, this was surely avoidable, and a terrible shame it had to happen.

Hamas fired rockets at Jerusalem, one of which aimed at Al-Aqsa mosque

It turns out the Hamas has no qualms about endangering even the supposedly 3rd holiest site for Islam, the al-Aqsa mosque that was built in past centuries over the site where the Jerusalem Temple was built in the Old City. As Breitbart reports:
The Palestinian terrorist group Hamas fired rockets toward Jerusalem on Friday evening, as both Jews and Muslims were participating in prayers, endangering the Dome of the Rock, the Western Wall, and the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The rockets were intercepted and disabled by Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system, whose trails could be seen across the evening sky.

[...] One Hamas rocket reached the Palestinian Authority capital of Ramallah, landing near a hospital, the Times of Israel reported.
The Hamas will doubtless blame it all on Israel anyway, and so too will the PLO. But it does make clear that for them, it's entirely acceptable to sacrifice fellow Islamists if that's what it takes to destroy Israel.

IDF undermines war against Islamic terror by penalizing soldiers who did Hanuka prayer through mosque loudspeaker

The IDF's made a lot of accomplishments lately in dealing with Islamic terrorism after the Hamas' bloodbath on October 7. But what the Israeli army's doing here does not help matters:
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced Thursday that it had suspended several soldiers who were seen in a widely-shared video singing Hanukkah songs through the loudspeaker of a minaret on a mosque during a counter-terror operation in Jenin.

Jenin, a Palestinian Authority-controlled city in the West Bank known as a hotbed for violent terrorism, has been the target of an IDF operation lasting for two and-a-half days.

[...] In his evening briefing, IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said (via IDF translation):

I wish to address the unusual footage published today from the Jenin mosque. IDF soldiers are required to act professionally in accordance with the spirit of the IDF and its values. This is how the overwhelming majority of soldiers act; we will not compromise the IDF’s conduct. Anyone who does not conduct themselves according to IDF values will face corresponding measures.

The soldiers involved were suspended. Israel’s Sephardic Chief Rabbi also denounced the soldiers’ behavior, according to the Times of Israel, and told the IDF to remind soldiers “that they must not harm the religious sentiments of the adherents of other faiths.”
So they're going soft on the very Religion of Peace that indoctrinated all Islamofascists who took part in the bloodbath to commit heinous crimes. That's simply unacceptable, and the IDF owes the soldiers an apology for resorting to the very same PC narrative many others have made the mistake of committing.

After October 7, some leftists hopefully changed their view of Muslims

In this Wash. Free Beacon article, they interview a leftist "peace activist" who appears to have changed after her experience with the jihadists from Gaza who also invaded her household on October 7:
Irit Lahav, 57, was a peace activist who believed in the decency of the Palestinian people. Then, on Oct. 7, ordinary Gazans joined in a terrorist attack that left more than one in four of her neighbors in Kibbutz Nir Oz dead or abducted.

For many members of Nir Oz and other Israelis, the atrocities of Oct. 7—and particularly the broad participation of the Gazan public in the day—destroyed their faith in coexistence with the Palestinians.

Lahav, a manager at a travel company, long participated in peace demonstrations. In recent years, she volunteered for an Israeli charity called Road to Recovery, driving Palestinian children from the border of the Gaza Strip, less than two miles from her home, to Israeli hospitals for life-saving medical care.

"We thought that Palestinians are good people. All they want is peace and prosperity," Lahav told the Washington Free Beacon in an interview from a hotel in this Red Sea resort city where she and most of her community were temporarily relocated. "It's just that Hamas is forcing them to be in this aggressive situation."

When terrorists first shook the door of her safe room on Oct. 7, Lahav was sure that she and her 22-year-old daughter were about to be killed. But a makeshift lock she had fashioned out of an oar and a vacuum cleaner thwarted three separate break-in attempts. The women lay in the darkened room for about 10 hours listening to sounds of automatic gunfire and grenade explosions. At one point, they heard a group of teenagers robbing their house.

Later, Lahav learned from other Nir Oz survivors that Gazan women and children as young as 10 years old had followed Hamas terrorists into the kibbutz, looting, helping the armed terrorists, and apparently enjoying themselves.

"Basically it was sort of an invasion of a community," Lahav said. "That's why for me, I cannot say this was a Hamas action. No, for me, this was a Palestinian action. A whole community had come to our kibbutz, took our things, stole stuff, killed people, and kidnapped others."

"Am I thinking about myself being foolish until now?" Lahav added. "Maybe. But more is that I'm disappointed in them, that they're so cruel, have no values, really lost their human values."

During Israel's ongoing war to destroy Hamas, 40 of the hostages taken from Nir Oz have been released, while 30 remain in Gaza. Several other hostages have been declared dead in recent weeks, bringing the total number of people killed from Nir Oz to 46.
While it's good to know she's changed her mind about what people like her still call a "palestinian people", it remains to be seen if any of these presumably no-longer-peace-activists recognize that Islam played a very horrific major role in the bloodbath of October 7. And what would Lahav say if "settlers" of background more religious than hers were the victims? Lahav should publicly renounce all associations with anyone who until now supported Islamic savages. And she'd do well to consider how many women in Europe, in example, have fallen victim to Islamofascism as well. Many on the left now owe a serious apology.

Turkish MP dies after delivering anti-Israeli tirade

Looks like a most antisemitic member of Turkey's pseudo-parliament paid for his vulgar screeds big time:
Turkish lawmaker Hasan Bitmez of the hardline Islamist Saadet Party (SP) died in the hospital on Thursday, two days after he collapsed during a fiery tirade against Israel at the Turkish National Assembly.

Bitmez, 54, collapsed at the climax of a 22-minute speech on Tuesday in which he criticized the government of Islamist President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his AKP Party for not taking a strong enough stance against Israel in the Gaza war.

[...] The parliament was reportedly debating the national budget at the time of his remarks. It is not clear from Turkish media reports if Bitmez’s anti-Israel attack was germane to the budgetary considerations at hand.
For many of these Islamofascists, nothing is ever enough. But here's one scumbag who sure wound up potentially facing the Lord's wrath due to his offensive tirade.

Hamas supporters in USA block Los Angeles highway

The police in Los Angeles took action against members of IfNotNow who blocked traffic on an inner city highway:
75 people were arrested on Wednesday after dozens of protesters calling for a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war brought traffic to a halt on the 110 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles, KTLA5 reported.

The left-wing IfNotNow organization organized the protest, which began around 9:30 a.m. local time, according to the report.

Helicopter footage from the scene showed the demonstrators sitting in the southbound lanes of the freeway behind a banner reading, “Permanent Ceasefire: Equality, Justice, Safety For All.”

A large Menorah had also been placed on the freeway.

Thousands of drivers were impacted as the protest not only blocked travel on the busy 110 Freeway but also caused heavy congestion on other LA freeways and side streets.

Authorities told protesters that the gathering was unlawful and asked them to move, but the group refused to leave until they were individually handcuffed and hauled away to face criminal charges, according to KTLA5.
Here's more about the incident. When are authorities going to make even movements like IfNotNow outlawed? That they'd use a menorah in their vile acts is also shameful.

More news coverage of the horror of sexual violence Hamas inflicted on October 7

Here's another report (via Front Page), repulsive as can be, about the sexual violence the Hamas committed along with graphic gore on October 7 this year:
Israeli investigators probing the fallout of the brutal October 7 attacks have found evidence that men as well as women suffered sexual violence and rape at the hands of Hamas and Islamic Jihad attackers, activists have claimed.

Yael Sherer, a spokeswoman for Israel's Survivors of Sexual Violence advocacy group, said there was physical evidence as well as eyewitness accounts of sexual violence perpetrated against both sexes amid the attacks.

'There was sexual violence and rape in these communities in the south of Israel... we have a few living survivors - not a lot - of both genders. It didn't only happen to women, it happened to men as well,' she told BBC Radio 4.

'Aside from finding bodies of people who were murdered, a lot of the bodies were mutilated... terrorists made sure to disgrace these people and dishonor them,' she added.

It comes as Israeli police opened up the biggest investigation into sexual violence and crimes against women ever in the nation.

The leader of the investigation, Shelly Harush, said: 'It's clear now that sexual crimes were part of the planning and the purpose was to terrify and humiliate people.'

Police have collected thousands of statements, photographs and video clips that have been called unbearable to watch from a mother's perspective and include 'girls whose pelvises were broken they had been raped so much'.
The irony in this is that those Hamas jihadists who raped men were bound to be homosexual. In which case, there's definitely a contradiction when it comes to homosexuality and Islam. Is that why some of the most antisemitic LGBT ideologues aren't against the Religion of Peace?

Update: while we're on the subject, here's some more sad but unsurprising news: Condolences to the woman's family.

Transsexual woman in Connecticut arrested for antisemitic hate crime

What makes this case particularly disturbing is that the criminal in question is said to be the daughter of a deputy associate attorney general:
The 28-year-old trans child of Connecticut's deputy associate attorney general was arrested on Thursday over a felony antisemitic hate crime incident in Newtown.

Sarah Stofko, who goes by the alias “Isaac,” was arrested on Dec. 7 by the Newtown Police Department following an investigation into the vandalism of an Israeli flag that had been cut down. According to the police report, a witness reported the incident to law enforcement and police were able to obtain a vehicle description and registration belonging to Stofko. The report lists Stofko’s sex as “m” though she is an adult female.

Stofko, an alumna of Hunter College in New York City, is facing charges of third-degree intimidation based on bigotry or bias, a felony, and third-degree criminal mischief. Stofko is the child of Deputy Associate Attorney General Carolyn Signorelli, a Democrat and liberal activist. Stofko’s arrest record shows an address belonging to her mother, confirming she was living with the high-level state attorney in their 2,000-square-foot house in the state’s wealthiest county when she allegedly committed the hate crime.
So here's another example of how a considerable sum of LGBT advocates are horifically antisemitic, and also anti-Christian, recalling the recent tragedy in Tennessee. When will some liberal Jewish movements realize it won't do a bit of good to appease creeps like these?

University students who hate Israel most are also the most poorly informed

Robert Spencer discusses the continuing horror story unfolding at universities flooded with antisemitism and Islamophilia:
Algemeiner reported recently that “students who care strongly about the ‘Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories’ do not have knowledge of basic facts surrounding the subject, and do not share similar concerns about other geopolitical conflicts.” This wholly unstartling fact comes from a survey of 230 undergraduates at University of California, Berkeley. Ron Hassner, who has the unenviable position of being Berkeley’s Helen Diller Family Chair in Israel Studies, conducted this survey, which began by presenting students with 18 issues and asking them to rate how interested they were in them.

Hassner explained that these issues included “US-Iran relations, the civil war in Yemen, drone warfare, etc., on a five point scale, ranging from ‘I’m not that interested’ (1 point out of 5) to ‘I care deeply’ (5 points out of 5).” The survey went on from there to ask the respondents a “series of open-ended questions ‘on history, geography, and current affairs.’”

According to Hassner, 43 percent of the students were most interested in Israel’s alleged “control of Palestinian territories,” while expressing much less interest in “other Middle East occupations, such as the Kurdish struggle for independence, the occupation of Western Sahara, or the occupation of Northern Cyprus.” That’s understandable. These indoctrinated bots aren’t inundated daily with self-righteous Leftist twaddle about the massive, howling, world-historical injustice of the occupation of Western Sahara or Northern Cyprus. They likely haven’t even heard of either one.

That’s a reasonable conclusion to come to in light of the fact that they know virtually nothing about the conflict that they do profess to care, and care very deeply, about: “Eighty-four percent of those in the most passionate cohort could not name the decade when Israel captured the West Bank, while 75 percent could not locate the Palestinian territories in question on a map.” Moreover, a full twenty-five percent of these programmed and propagandized student “placed the Palestinian Territories west of Lebanon, in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea.” Nor did just a few of them drive the Palestinians into the sea that they chant about wanting to fill with Israelis: “The class average for this blunder was 14%.”

Strikingly, the survey data also showed that “students who expressed the most interest in the Palestinian issue were less informed than more moderate peers, who ‘are more likely to admit gaps in their knowledge and, as a result, are less likely to hold erroneous beliefs.’” Thus “like the rest of the class, only 25% of passionate students placed the Palestinian Territories, correctly, south of Lebanon. But students with more moderate levels of enthusiasm provided the correct answer 28% of the time.”
No doubt, these students who sided with the Hamas/PLO couldn't care less about the plight of Armenians during WW1 either, and it's also chilling to wonder what they think of 9-11. Many years later now, we're seeing the fiasco of leftist influence at schools in motion, and it's bound to get much worse soon enough.

South Africa republic continues to make itself look awful when it comes to Israel

The South Africa Republic's government cancelled a Hanuka celebration and even supported Hamas (Hat tip: Breitbart):
South African Jewry is outraged by the visit to the country of a senior Hamas delegation to participate in the Fifth Global Convention of Solidarity with Palestine. This comes just weeks after Israel suffered on 7 October the gravest act of mass murder, including inhumane torture of Jews, since the Holocaust at the hands of this internationally designated terrorist organisation.

Still reeling in the aftermath of the brutal pre-dawn unprovoked attack in which 1 200 civilians were slaughtered, raped, maimed, and burned, and 240 people including babies, children, women, and the elderly were taken hostage into Gaza, the community has been angered by pictures on social media of Hamas delegates being warmly welcomed and embraced by representatives of political parties including the ruling African National Congress (ANC), the Anglican Church, civil society groups, and the Palestine solidarity movement.

[...] The Hamas delegation also met with high-level members of the ANC including Secretary-General Fikile Mbalula, Nomvula Mokonyane, as well as members of the Communist Party at Luthuli House. At a press conference held on Wednesday, 6 December, Mbalula further pledged the ANC’s support and solidarity with the people of Palestine.
Well this is utterly disgusting, and makes them a country I'd rather not visit. How much longer do they intend to keep this up? The South Africa Republic's government is definitely leading themselves to ruin by allowing commies to operate there, and no shock they'd be willing to associate with Hamas as well. One of the most offensive displays of lacking responsibility to be seen around the world.

6 teenagers in France convicted for roles in Islamist murder of Samuel Paty

Six teenagers have been convicted for the role they played in the jihadist murder of the teacher Samuel Paty, all because he wanted to discuss the monster known as Muhammed:
A French juvenile court on Friday convicted six teenagers for their roles in the 2020 beheading of a teacher by an Islamic extremist, an attack that shocked the country and shone a light on the real-world dangers of online hate speech.

Samuel Paty, a history and geography teacher, was killed near his school after showing his class cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad during a debate on free expression. Attacker Abdoullakh Anzorov, a young Chechen who had become radicalized, was killed by police.

The court found five of the defendants, who were 14 and 15 at the time of the attack, guilty of involvement in staking out the teacher and identifying him for the attacker. The sixth defendant, 13 at the time, was found guilty of lying about the classroom debate in comments that aggravated online anger against the teacher.
But here's the bad news:
One was given a six-month prison term but allowed to serve under house arrest with an electronic bracelet. The others were given special suspended sentences of between two and three years requiring them to stay in school or jobs. The sentences included special educative follow-up measures that also involved their families.

Lawyers for Paty’s family decried the sentences as too lenient. [...]
And they're correct. They should be tried as adults, if they weren't, and in any event, this marks another judicial embarrassment where the establishment is trying to dodge serious responsibility.

Hunter Biden indicted

Finally, it looks like the scandal much of the MSM refused to cover out of petty politics is now heading for court:
The US Department of Justice has charged Hunter Biden with nine federal tax offences, including tax evasion, adding to the legal troubles of the president’s son ahead of the 2024 election year.

The indictment was handed down by a grand jury and filed in federal court in California by special counsel David Weiss, who was appointed by attorney-general Merrick Garland to probe Hunter Biden’s business dealings.

Prosecutors said Hunter Biden failed to pay at least $1.4mn of federal taxes for the years between 2016 and 2019, a period that covered Joe Biden’s last year as vice-president and the start of his 2020 presidential campaign.

The DoJ said Hunter Biden had “spent millions of dollars on an extravagant lifestyle rather than paying his tax bills” and “willfully failed” to pay taxes on time for four years “despite having access to funds to pay some or all of these taxes”.
Well it's about time. But who knows if Biden Jr. will actually end up convicted? There's just no telling if that'll happen, though his reputation's certainly destroyed by all these allegations.

More than 150 Hamas jihadists surrender to IDF in Khan Yunis

An important accomplishment made by the IDF in capturing a significant number of terrorists in the city of Khan Yunis:
Over 150 Hamas terrorists surrendered to the IDF in Khan Yunis on Thursday. Footage of the incident was published on social media.

The terrorists were checked by the IDF soldiers and transferred for initial questioning by the security forces.
This is a very good achievement. There'll be plenty of jihadists to put on trial soon, and hopefully, they'll be given the death sentence, something that's being debated now in the Knesset.

Amazingly enough, veteran filmmaker Steven Spielberg has commented on the issue:
Acclaimed Hollywood director Steven Spielberg spoke out on the Hamas massacre of October 7 for the first time last week.

In an address published by the USC Shoah Foundation last Friday, Spielberg said that he "never imagined I would see such unspeakable barbarity against Jews in my lifetime."

Spielberg, who is Jewish, founded the Shoah Foundation in 1994 to gather and preserve testimony from survivors and witnesses to the Holocaust. The Foundation has begun gathering testimony from survivors of the October 7 massacre under its Countering Antisemitism Through Testimony Collection program, which documents antisemitism in the post-Holocaust era.

According to Spielberg, this initiative is part of “an effort that will ensure that the voices of survivors will act as a powerful tool to counter the dangerous rise of antisemitism and hate.”

“Both initiatives — recording interviews with survivors of the October 7 attacks and the ongoing collection of Holocaust testimony — seek to fulfill our promise to survivors: that their stories would be recorded and shared in the effort to preserve history and to work toward a world without antisemitism or hate of any kind,” he said.

“We must remain united and steadfast in these efforts,” he said.
But does this means he's willing to produce films and/or documentaries in the forseeable future about this tragedy? Because if he doesn't, then he won't be accomplishing anything. Nor will it avail if he takes the same morally equivalent approach he did with Munich nearly 2 decades ago, which ultimately came at the expense of the Jewish victims of the terrorist attack in 1972 at the Olympics. If memory serves, he even sought approval from CAIR, whom it turns out is celebrating the October 7 horror:
Video emerged Thursday of Nihad Awad, executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), celebrating the October 7 terror attack by Hamas in which 1200 people were murdered in Israel and more than 240 were abducted as hostages.

Awad’s speech on November 24 to the American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) convention in Chicago was reported at the time, but was largely overlooked; it resurfaced Thursday when shared by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI).

[...] The Biden administration also worked with CAIR, despite its radical and antisemitic history, in shaping the so-called “strategy” on antisemitism earlier this year. As Breitbart News reported, CAIR boasted that it helped protect extreme criticism of Israel within the White House’s strategy, which was a reversal of existing policy under previous administrations of both parties.
Will Spielberg be willing to condemn CAIR for their repulsive behavior, and even pan Biden's associations with them? Let's hope he and his institutions realize what a terrible PR error they'd be making if they didn't.

Update: the White House now says it's severing ties with Awad. Something they could've done long ago, and they surely knew CAIR was a repellent lot.

Update 2: Andrea Widburg at the American Thinker comments on the photographs of the jihadists who've surrendered, ideally stripped to underwear.

Update 3: also vital to note is that, as a doctor's revealed, at least 10 hostages of the Hamas were sexually abused in the tunnels:
At least 10 of the Israeli civilians released by Hamas, both men and women, were sexually assaulted or abused while in captivity, the Associated Press reported Wednesday.

In a report detailing allegations of severe and widespread sexual abuse by Hamas terrorists during their October 7 onslaught and later against hostages, a doctor who treated some of the 110 hostages released from captivity told the AP that at least 10 men and women among those freed were sexually assaulted or abused.

He did not provide further details, and spoke on condition of anonymity to protect the hostages’ identities.

The doctor’s comments corroborated similar accounts shared at a meeting on Tuesday. The meeting, held between the Israeli war cabinet and a group comprising recently freed hostages and family members of those still held in Gaza, featured firsthand testimonies from some of the released captives. These individuals detailed their experiences of sexual abuse during their captivity, participants said.
Read more if you have the stomach for it. This is exactly why the Hamas has to be brought down altogether, and all sane people must strongly condemn their savagery.

University presidents made themselves look horrific on the issue of anti-Israeli violence

3 university presidents were called in to testify about the crisis of antisemitism at their campuses, and all 3 actually made themselves look repulsive, because they wound up acting as apologists for it. Only now, after the initial testimonies, are they actually backtracking:
The presidents of Harvard and the University of Pennsylvania on Wednesday sought to contain the damage from congressional testimony a day earlier in which they struggled to say whether calls on their campuses for genocide against Jews would violate school policies.

The stuttering testimony before a US House of Representatives committee by Claudine Gay and Elizabeth Magill, the leaders of Harvard and Penn, respectively, stirred outrage — particularly among Jewish alumni and donors — and added fuel to calls to replace them. By Wednesday evening, an online petition calling for Penn’s board to sack Magill had garnered more than 4,500 signatures from students and donors.

In a video address released on Wednesday, a sober-looking Magill said she had erred by taking an overly legalistic approach when responding to the question posed by Elise Stefanik, the New York Republican representative, who pressed the academics to say plainly whether calling for the genocide of Jews on their campuses violated their codes of conduct of harassment policies.
What took place was worse than harassment. It was support for murder and sexual violence. Such behavior is serious enough to warrant police enforcement to arrest any and all offenders, and even the college presidents themselves should be arrested and imprisoned for failure to report/prevent crimes. Even the part about "legalistic" is DS. Why, if that's how they're going to address anti-Israeli hostility, who knows how they'd respond if 9-11 victims were the subject? Stefanik panned the so-called apology:
Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-NY, blasted the president's video, calling it a "pathetic PR clean up attempt."

"This pathetic PR clean up attempt by Penn shockingly took over 24 hours to try to fix the moral depravity of the answers under oath yesterday,"
Rep. Stefanik wrote in a post on X. "And there was not even an apology. By the way, the questions were asked over and over and over again."

"No statement will fix what the world saw and heard yesterday."

The Ivy League president said that a call for genocide of the Jewish people would be classified as harassment or intimidation, despite her previous comments saying that it would "depend on the context."
"Depend" is another pathetic wording Magill employed. In the meantime, all concerned should stop donating to these monster factories, should not take classes there, and should also file police reports against the management as much as against the offending alumna themselves. Seriously, there is grounds on which to prosecute university managements, and it's something that should also be done when it comes to cases like the transsexual male creep swimming against female swimmers at these institutions in the past year or so. Yes, Riley Gaines should by all means file a legal case against even the offender himself over that matter. Update: some local sources are speaking out against this academic abomination. For example, the Yad Vashem chairman:
"It's appalling but not surprising," he said. "I visited these institutions, spoke with presidents, provosts, and deans, as well as with the incredible Jewish leaders who are the silver lining there. These Jewish leaders feel ostracized. In a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion class, they put all the Jews in a separate room to 'protect' them. I spoke with the presidents and provosts, and they have no idea what is going on."

"The problem is in the faculty, which is developing, article by article, a policy that calls for the elimination of the Jewish state. Such a protocol is not logical, but it is doubtless driven by other things, such as the Qatari investments some of these institutions are receiving," he explained.

"The presidents of these universities respond by citing the First Amendment about freedom of speech. I say to them - if such a doctrine were to be developed calling for the ostracization of the LGBTQ+ community or targeting people of color, that too would be protected by the First Amendment, but that professor would be fired the following day. The same professor calling for the elimination of the state of Israel has a good chance of being promoted."

He added: "This is a cancerous process. I saw it starting five to ten years ago when there were reasonably easy steps that could have been taken against the BDS referendums. We are now in stage two cancer, and more aggressive treatments are needed - treatments I am not optimistic to see from the current administration. At stage three and four, it will be terminal - but for the universities, not for the Jews."

Dayan says that he believes that claims of history repeating itself are more than hyperbole. "For the first time, I see the similarities between what happened then and what is happening now. The people who burned books in Berlin in the 1930s were not the ignorant masses but the professors and students of the most prestigious universities in Germany. Virtually, the Zionist books in the university libraries are already being burned."

He sees distinct similarities between Hamas and the Nazis: "The cruelty displayed by Hamas is the same cruelty displayed by the Nazis, and the intentions are the same genocidal intentions. Whether to call them Nazis can be debated, but there can be no doubt about their intentions."

[...] Dayan believes that the denial of the massacre mandates action by his institution. "Denial of the Holocaust started in the 40s. Denial of Oct. 7th started on Oct. 8th. Denial of antisemitism and the state of Israel is growing as well and costing Jewish lives. Yad Vashem traditionally doesn't deal with modern antisemitism because six million Jews murdered in the Shoah are entitled to an institution that is exclusively for them. The situation now, though, calls for exceptional actions, and so now we will be active in combating modern antisemitism too."
Here's some more on the Algemeiner:
Antisemitism on American college campuses is comparable to Stage 2 cancer, and if allowed to progress to Stage 4, academia will be “doomed,” the chairman of Yad Vashem, Israel’s national memorial to the Holocaust, told The Algemeiner a day after presidents of elite US universities refused to issue a condemnation of genocidal calls against Jews and Israel.

According to Dani Dayan, institutions of higher education are becoming increasingly filled with “pseudo-academic theories advocating for genocide of the Jewish people,” and the leadership of those colleges are supporting them, “either by action or inaction.”

Dayan said he explained to University of Pennsylvania president Elizabeth Magill — who drew outrage in September for refusing to cancel an anti-Zionist festival featuring speakers accused of promoting antisemitic conspiracies and violence against Israel — that antisemitism was a “cancerous process” that wasn’t stopped at Stage 1 by universities when it would have been “relatively easy” to do so.

“Now we are in Stage 2, which is much more difficult, and necessarily takes harsher steps,” he said.

“But if we don’t take those steps now, we will reach Stage 3 and Stage 4, which is terminal,” he added, clarifying the problem would be lethal “not for the Jews, but terminal for the university. They will be doomed if they continue this way.”
Well this is why any university that allows such repulsive ideologies to take hold cannot be bankrolled anymore by sane people's money, period. Nor can Jewish students continue to learn there. They'd do well to save their hard-earned money.

Update 2: since the the subject of the Holocaust during WW2 came up here, see also this article about Miss Puerto Rico Michelle Colón revealing she had relatives who were murdered during the Holocaust.

Update 3: rabbi David Wolpe resigned from the Harvard antisemitism investigation committee after Gay's catastrophous failure of responsibility.

Update 4: Magill has resigned on the 9th of December as president of UPenn. What she did was truly repulsive, and she should be ostracized by sensible people for excusing the seriousness of the topic.

Child hostage freed from captivity returns to school

One of the child hostages who was fortunate to be freed from Hamas captivity has returned to school:
Emilia Aloni, one of the youngest hostages taken by Hamas during the October 7 massacre, has returned to kindergarten Tuesday. This was the first day she attended since September 28, when classes were dismissed for the Jewish holidays.

In a heartwarming video recorded by Emilia's mother, Danielle, and released on social networks by the family and the Israeli Ministry of Education, the teacher is seen opening the gate for Emilia, saying: "Welcome, welcome, welcome – I feel like breaking into song! Wow, I love her!" After she hugs the 5-year-old girl, the other girls start hugging her too. One of them is heard telling Emilia: "I missed you for such a long, long time," and "I missed you. I saw you on TV."
One girl who's very lucky to be alive and well after those horrors.

Linor Abargil speaks at the UN

Abargil, who was an Israeli beauty pageant contestant at Miss World in 1998 who was raped by an Israeli travel agent in Italy, spoke out at the UN about how she feels now that the UN's revaled its true colors:
"I remember the days I spoke up in public about my personal experience, 25 years ago. I remember the warm embrace of the international women's organizations. . I felt I had support, that someone believed me, that someone listened to me. Did these organizations demand any proof then? Did they question my version? Did they ask to “conduct a comprehensive investigation before jumping to conclusions”? No. How convenient it was at the time for these organizations to use my name, my fame, to invite me to their conferences, that are in a world of their own, to take a photo with the woman who became for them a symbol…and how ashamed I feel that I was nothing but an extra in their production.

"Why? Because today, in these conferences, they do not want to present the blood stains on the pants, the broken pelvises, the desecrated bodies of my sisters. The blood-thirsty Hamas terrorists even documented their war crimes – and still most of the women's organizations are silent. It took almost two months for UN WOMEN to publish this weekend, late at night, a weak condemnation.

"The horrific testimonies we have witnessed so far, and which have been presented in this conference, should have awoken the women's organizations long ago, and get them to stand with us in solidarity - but so far, this has not happened because of their cowardice. Because of petty politics. In the place I grew up there is an old saying: שקט הוא רפש. Silence is despicable. The women who were raped and murdered on October 7 were maybe silenced forever, but justice will be done. Truth shall prevail. We will never forget them. We will make the world never forget them. We will be the voice that was taken away from them.
Well I'm glad she's speaking out, and realizing something even I'd once guessed was actually the case. But this beggars the question: when she was working in PR on the issue of sexual violence, did the conferences she attended have anything at all to do with the subject of Islamofascism, and sexual violence committed under the shield of the Religion of Peace? If not, did she notice at the time, or say anything about it? Because if she didn't, and never asked any queries about why Islam was being given a pass, doesn't that symbolize weakness too? It's to be wondered if she ever attended conferences about women in Europe who fell victim to Islamic rape, and again, if she never did, that's very disappointing. I should hope Abargil recognizes that how a woman dresses is not what matters, it's how a man behaves that is, recalling a certain interview she gave nearly 15 years ago. And it also remains to be seen if she recognizes that Islam is the problem in this case too.

While we're on the issue, it appears the USA state department's taking a double standard when it comes to Judea/Samaria residents:
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken today (Tuesday) announced a visa ban on "extremist settlers" who are accused of attacking Palestinian Arabs in Judea and Samaria.

“We have underscored to the Israeli government the need to do more to hold accountable extremist settlers who have committed violent attacks against Palestinians in the West Bank,” Blinken said. “As President Biden has repeatedly said, those attacks are unacceptable.”

He continued, “Today, the State Department is implementing a new visa restriction policy targeting individuals believed to have been involved in undermining peace, security or stability in the West Bank, including through committing acts of violence or taking other actions that unduly restrict civilians’ access to essential services and basic necessities.”

“Immediate family members of such persons also may be subject to these restrictions,” he noted.

“We also continue to engage with the Israeli leadership to make clear that Israel must take additional measures to protect Palestinian civilians from extremist attacks. We will also continue to engage the Palestinian Authority to make clear it must do more to curb Palestinian attacks against Israelis,” Blinken said, though no similar announcement of sanctions was made against people who attack Israelis.
Something tells me the would-be extremists he speaks of wouldn't care to visit a country facing dire collapse in many ways anyway. But, no surprise this is so one-sided, and Islamists are unlikely to face any restrictions on entry to the USA by contrast. For now, what matters is that this is just as disgraceful as how the UN's going about, and does nothing to solve the problems currently being faced.

Update: the BBC's finally been willing to publish the subject in their headlines.
